Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — More than six hundred (600) Kalipunan ng Damayang Mahihirap (KADAMAY) members withdrew their support to the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) and denounced terrorism on February 9, 2022 in Brgy. Sapang Palay, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
The PNP-Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 (RMFB 3) together with Bulacan 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (1st PMFC); Bulacan 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (2nd PMFC); Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit (BPIU); 70th Infantry Battalion, Phil. Army (70IB, PA); National intelligence Coordinating Agency 3 (NICA 3); San Jose Del Monte City Police Station (SJDM CPS); and 24th Special Action Company (24SAC), 2nd Special Action Battalion (2SAB), PNP SAF jointly facilitated the oath of allegiance of KADAMAY members to the government.
In his message, PBGEN MATTHEW PERLAS BACCAY, RD, PRO3, emphasized the importance of the KADAMAY members’ withdrawal of support to the CTG in relation to the government’s fight against insurgency and terrorism. He also assured the KADAMAY members of the government’s support in addressing their needs.
The activity was highlighted with the signing of oath of allegiance and distribution of grocery packs followed by the burning of the Communist Flag by members of the KADAMAY.
